Our guest speaker this morning was James Osbourne from the San Angelo chapter of Texas Ramp Project.  Texas Ramp Project builds access ramps for those in need – for free.
It is a volunteer driven organization and Mr. Osbourne has been doing this volunteer work for almost 3 years now.
In just a few hours, James Osbourne and his crew can change the life of someone by building a wheelchair ramp for them – having their freedom restored to come and go as they please.
Organization wide there have been 14,052 ramps built which equates to 370,384 linear feet.  In San Angelo there have been 79 ramps built for a total of 1,267 linear feet (November 2017).
